A Brief History of Chinook Jargon

Nobody really knows how long Chinook Jargon has been around, some believe its been around thousands of years others think it started when the English arrived. The language was used to simplify all languages for trade, Even Lewis and Clark learned how to use it! Production of the Chinook Jargen dictionaries began in 1840.
